At Tanksy Sawmill Toyota, many of our customers are drawn to the rugged styling and exciting features of the RAV4. The RAV4 has been among the top-selling models in the U.S. in recent years. With both gas-powered and hybrid models available, there are options to suit most drivers. What are the key differences between the 2024 Toyota RAV4 and the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid?

Performance

The 2024 RAV4's six trim levels are outfitted with a 203-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed auto transmission. Most trims are available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. However, the TRD Off-Road and the Adventure trims have standard all-wheel drive. In comparison, the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid pairs this 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to produce 219 total horsepower. The RAV4 Hybrid has standard all-wheel drive across all seven trim levels.

Appearance

While the RAV4 and the RAV4 Hybrid are closely named, they are easily discernible on the road. The RAV4 has a capable look with a tall profile, subtly angled side accents, and a powerful front-end design. An LED ribbon outlines the angled headlights, and their placement perfectly aligns with the wide, A-frame grille. The foglamps ports are directly below the headlights. Bold, black molding runs along the lower perimeter from end to end. In comparison, the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has a unique front-end design. The large, sharply pointed headlights are enhanced with a double bolt of LED lights. The lower air vents are deeply set for a powerful look. In addition, the grille and bumper have a stacked, modern design.

Features

Many of the cabin and interior features that you can enjoy in the 2024 RAV4 are also available in the RAV4 Hybrid. Shared features include a digital rear mirror, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, a surround-view camera, a 10.5-inch touch display screen, a JBL premium sound system, a sunroof, a digital instrument panel, household power outlets, USB ports, a blind-spot warning, a keyless ignition and more.

1. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions in your Owner's Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. "Added vehicle equipment" includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle's exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo. [Calculated with the new SAE J2807 method.] Installation of a tow hitch receiver or other accessories located near the rear bumper may require disabling or removing the kick sensor, and the sensor operation setting in your vehicle should be turned off. See Owner's Manual for limitations.
