What's New for the 2024 Toyota Tundra?
The 2024 Toyota Tundra is a solid pick for truck shoppers in the Dublin area thanks to its impressive performance abilities and quality features from bumper to bumper. This year, Toyota introduced several improvements to the Tundra. For example, there are a few new optional packages to dress up the Tundra's strong style. The TRD Off-Road package is offered on the Platinum trim for the first time. With this package, the Tundra benefits from two-tone door handles, special badging, black mirror caps, a black grille, and other accents. In addition, the Limited trim is available with the optional Nightshade package. This package adds dark coloring throughout the interior and exterior. The other exterior features available across the 2024 Tundra's exterior are comparable to the features of the 2023 Tundra. Some of these are 18-inch wheels or larger, heated and power-folding side mirrors, auto LED headlights, a remote-locking and power tailgate, hands-free entry, towing equipment, LED foglamps, adjustable tie-down cleats, noise-reducing glass, a panoramic sunroof, and others.
There are also a few updates to the 2024 Toyota Tundra's interior. The Limited trim level introduces a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as a standard feature. The Platinum and 1794 trims now have a head-up display as a stand-alone upgrade. If you choose the base Tundra trim, your new Toyota truck may have a push-button ignition, auto climate control, satellite radio, connected services, a power rear window, under-seat storage, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and others. Some or all of the higher Tundra trims could give you heated seats, a navigation system with voice recognition, a blind-spot detection system, leather upholstery, a household power outlet, a JBL audio system, a wireless device charger, a surround-view camera, and more.
The 2024 Tundra also has a few performance-based improvements. For example, all of the Tundra's trims have a 3-inch lift except for the TRD Pro. The TRD Pro has a unique suspension system. The powertrains available across the trim levels are unchanged. The standard engine for most Tundra trims is a 389-horsepower, V6, 3.5-liter turbo engine. It is available with an auto 10-speed transmission and the option of rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. A 437-horsepower hybrid powertrain is also offered on higher trim levels. Select trims also have drive mode selection, a trailer backup guide system, crawl control, skid plates, hill descent control, crawl control, and several other mechanical upgrades.
