Tansky Sawmill Toyota is currently rebuilding a new LEED facility in hopes to reach the Gold Level. Tansky Sawmill Toyota will be the first in the region to hit this level of LEED certification if so! Leed certification is the recognized standard for measuring building sustainability. Achieving LEED certifications is the best way for us to demonstrate that our building project is truly "green."

Tansky Sawmill Toyota as a part of the LEED certification and green efforts we are helping to save the forests using FSC Rated wood! FSC is an independant, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. 

Environmentally appropriate forest management ensures that the production of timber, non-timber products and ecosystem services maintains the forest's biodiversity, productivity, and ecological processes. 

FSC forest areas are in 81 countries world wide and are growing!!
