Toyota Marks 25-Years of Success in Kentucky

After 25-years of production, the Toyota factory in Georgetown, Kentucky is still going strong. And we're talking 6,600 workers and 500,000 annual units kind of strong. Think about it. We all know that the auto companies are working hard to integrate new sustainable practices and Tansky Toyota certainly pats them on the back for that. Yet there are so many other business hubs that could be partaking as well. And if all those who make the most money in our economy could take a bigger green step forward, well, that would certainly facilitate some major change. Thankfully, it appears that Toyota thoroughly understands this concept as the automaker once again chose to act as the presenting sponsor of the Environmental Media Awards (EMA).
