IIHS Proves Toyota is the Safest

Wondering what's in store for 2012's new Toyota lineup? We can answer in one word: safety. Alright, so maybe there's more than just this ahead...but passenger protection is top on our list right now. That's because the attentive automaker recently won an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety "Top Safety Pick" for fifteen of its stellar models.
IIHS award winners receive titles based on their ability to do the best job protecting drivers and passengers in any crash scenario possible. Taking this into consideration, Tansky Toyota isn't surprised that Toyota made it to the top and beat out all other brands for having the greatest number of "safe" vehicles. Not only do models such as the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Highlander perform well when an accident happens, but they are engineered to prevent danger from occurring in the first place.
While Toyota family members including the Prius and Yaris were newly added to the IIHS list this year, the brand's eye towards driver/passenger protection is nothing new. Steve St. Angelo, Executive VP of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, says, "Safety is a core value that dates back to the foundation of our company."1
If you're looking for a vehicle built on years of safety and innovation, swing by the Tansky Toyota lot at 6300 Sawmill Rd. Dublin, OH 43017. Our Toyota team members are more than happy to set you up with a test drive or address any concerns you may have.
