Though it may not be met with same kind of joy and jubilation as, say, Christmas or the fourth of July, we here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota have become awfully big fans of Earth Day over the years. After all, our planet's had it pretty rough for the past couple centuries, the least we can do is give it a holiday and raise some awareness. Not only that, but with our new and used cars becoming that much greener from one model-year to the next, it only makes sense that our favorite automaker would ring in the festivities with bells on this year.

Even though it sounds more like a new reality TV show from the creative geniuses who brought us Splash, the 2013 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race is one of the highlights of our year here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota. After all, what's not to love about the marriage of our favorite A-listers with our favorite new and used cars? Well on the off chance that this is all coming as news, allow us to catch you up to speed.

It probably goes without saying, but there are a number of factors that can make or break your commute to and from work each day. Be it bumper-to-bumper traffic or good old-fashioned rubbernecking, we here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota know the drill all too well. The fact of the matter is that a bad commute is just no way to start or end your day, which is one of the many reasons we've come to love our new and used cars that much more than we already do.

Remember last week when we here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota told you all about how wonderfully disruptive our favorite automaker's been as of late? As for us, we couldn't be more excited about it, but in case there are still some non-believers out there about how our new and used cars are shaping the future of the auto industry, have we got some news for you.

When we here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota think of something as being disruptive, good things don't usually come to mind. For example: memories of not being able to pay attention in class because the class clown was being disruptive, or how an earthquake in Columbus would be disruptive to the sales of our new and used cars. But apparently, such is not always the case. If you asked the folks over at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, they'd tell you being disruptive is something worth celebrating, so much so that it deserves to be rewarded.

What's not to love about a company that gives back? As much as our hearts are constantly aflutter thanks to all our lovely new and used cars here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota, nothing warms our hearts quite like selflessness on display. It's one of the many reasons we're so proud of our favorite automaker and their commitment to philanthropy in all its many forms. And with their latest contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the pride continues to grow.

YouTube: the second-biggest productivity-killing time-suck on the internet after Facebook. Oh, how we remember the day we first discovered YouTube and the countless hours that have been magically disappearing ever since. But as much as we here at Tansky Toyota can rue the day we ever discovered that site, we have to admit that's it been awfully kind to our new and used cars.

Call us crazy, but if you drive a car, safety's probably a priority. Naturally, any car you buy will be safe in some respect, although the fact of the matter is that some cars are safer than others. And after all, it's one thing to hear your car is safe, and another thing entirely to have concrete proof.

We here at Tansky Toyota love us a good auto show. What Comic-Con is for Trekkies, that's what the annual North American International Auto Show is for us. What's not to love about two weeks' worth of new cars, old favorites, and making new gearhead friends? Oh yeah, we're counting down the minutes over here. The event is taking place in Detroit, MI from January 14-27 this year, and from what we've been hearing, Toyota might just blow some socks off.
